Pagellan.com is a personal homepages system, based on DHMTL and AJAX technologies.
It is a site, similar to netvibes.com
The visitors, even not being logged in, can configure their start homepage, to get the most recent and interesting RSS news and information on one page.
Pagellan.com is developed in PHP and JavaScript, using AJAX technology,
that allows to edit and manage the start page "on the fly": adding, moving, editing, deleting content boxes does not
need the page reloading. The page layout and the boxes can be stored in Cookies, if you are
not registered on the site, or in the database, if you are.
Being registered allows you to access your homepage from any PC using your personal URL.
There are different types of content boxes: notes textboxes, RSS news channels,
weather forecast (by location), Flickr images digest, graphical clocks,
the list of e-commerce sites, which have special offers currently, and many more.
Also the site has a useful directory for online shops, which helps to
find products you're looking for.
