Webdepart.net is a multilingual news portal reading RSS feeds from different sources that can be added by the user. The RSS news are divided on sections by languages and categories. The portal has a lot of features: each user can have a friends list, can see personal statistics, can subscribe to news, have their own so-called "Launchpad", that can be set as the browser's homepage and contains links and RSS boxes.

NuggetFishing.com.au
NuggetFishing.com.au is a site containing all about fishing in Australia. We've implemented there a cool graphical fishing predicting chart, where you choose a date in the calendar, choose a location and get a chart, containing the following items: sunrise/sunsets, moonrise/moonsets, moon phases, rising tide, low-tide (which are represented as a sinusoidal graph). Also the predicted time of the maximum catch is represented. The graph is done in PHP using a GD library.

SpeedReadingTool
SpeedReadingTool.com is a powerfull utility to learn reading quickly. The JavaScript application is displaying the words one by one frequently so you read the text quickly. You may adjust the speed, the colors, the font size, the number of words displayed at a time. The texts are loaded from the favourite Yahoo RSS channels (you may select a source and category of news from a drop-down list), but you can paste and run your own text also.

Pagellan.com is a personal homepages system, based on DHMTL and AJAX technologies.
It is a site, similar to netvibes.com The visitors, even not being logged in, can configure their start homepage, to get the most recent and interesting RSS news and information on one page. The site is developed in PHP and JavaScript, using AJAX technology,
that allows to edit and manage the start page "on the fly": adding, moving, editing, deleting content boxes does not need the page reloading.
